Parking Problems?

My foot is poised impatiently on the accelerator as I rev the engine and mentally steel myself for my third circuit. The lights change and I hit the floor visualising victory; jubilation, punching the air to the roar of the crowd, spraying passers-by with Veuve Clicquot. At this point, you might be forgiven for thinking that I’m taking part in the Monaco Grand Prix qualifiers or test-driving a Bugatti Veyron at Silverstone.
But no. I am engaged in something much more competitive; the daily battle to find a parking space on the street I actually live on… The combination of 1,2 or even 3 cars per a single house hold, I fear the problem of parking will only escalate in the future.

These were some of the concerns I discussed with the residents of north Huntingdon on Friday.
Do you have any thoughts on this? Are you struggling to find adequate parking on your street? Do you think the council and housing developers are doing enough to combat this problem of parking?
